Brave Joints is a free companion app designed to help families manage the daily challenges of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA). It is provided at no cost and is intended for personal, non-commercial family use.

All content in this app — including the AI assistant, symptom decoder, knowledge library, and any AI-generated responses — is for general informational purposes only. Always consult a qualified pediatric rheumatologist or other licensed healthcare provider for medical decisions regarding your child's condition. In a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately.
To create a Brave Joints account, you must be at least 18 years old and must be the parent or legal guardian of the child whose information you enter into the app. Children under 13 may only use the app under the supervision of a parent or guardian who has provided verifiable parental consent as described in our Privacy Policy.
You agree to: • Use this app only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms • Provide accurate information about yourself and your child • Not attempt to access another family's data • Not use the community forum to share medical advice or harass other users • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the app
The "Ask Other Parents" forum is a peer support space. Posts represent the experiences of individual families — not medical guidance. Brave Joints does not endorse any content posted by users. We reserve the right to remove content that is inappropriate, harmful, or violates these Terms.
The AI assistant in Parent Ask uses Anthropic's Claude model. AI responses are automatically filtered to avoid specific medical advice, but AI can make mistakes. Always verify health information with your care team.
Brave Joints is provided "as is" and may experience downtime, bugs, or changes. We make no guarantees of availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brave Joints is provided without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any health decisions made based on information from this app.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
